   this is a very odd recut. While the 2nd half works extremely well, it hits the mood of a psychological thriller perfectly, the 1st half seems to completely miss. It’s as if there was a kernel of an idea for the first half that just couldn’t be realized but at the same time the artist couldn’t let it go. I recommend slashing the first half to be at most 5 seconds.

   I agree completely about the first half. It’s overlong and bloated and doesn’t really work, but with any luck I’m better practiced now.

   It’s a learning curve, I hope :p

   The second half works really well, though–and this was definitely a good idea. The original “romantic comedy” premise for this movie was very creepy.
