  1. Very nice indeed. Says:

Very nice mash-up. Very bad voice-over, though.

  2. Tech Geek Says:

Too long, bad voice-over. Loved the beginning, but you should have chosen one era of Tom Hanks–he’s dramatically older in the Davinci Code and it screws up the timeline of the mashup. Great concept, though.

  3. Randarch Says:

Great idea. You should revise it a little though. Maybe put the voice over through Audacity. But I enjoyed it. Heck, it makes me wqish Tom Hanks would return to comedy and make a movie like it.

“What do you do for an encore?” That was a clever edit!

  4. Moneypenny (Lorena S.) Says:

Entertaining, but I agree that the voice-over has got to go. (You could probably accomplish just as much with a few nicely placed titles.) The second half picks-up with the remixed techno Bond theme, and I like the inclusion about the unfair bullying lifted from “Big.”

The possibilities for this trailer are endless. You could use some of the secret surveillence photos from “Sleepless in Seattle” and even combine the Volcano fortress in “You Only Live Twice” with something from “Joe Versus The…”

And it could definitely use a mashed-up title. Perhaps, “The Man With the Golden Gump,” “From Philadelphia With Love,” or “You’ve Got Death”?

  5. James Says:

Bit long and i agree with Tech Geek - bad voice over. However, some very clever parts.

  6. Keith Says:

Damn. Would everyone lighten up about the voice talent. Maybe this was on purpose???? Who would take Hanks serious as James Bond, anyway. I liked the choice of shots taken for each of Hanks’ movies. It was a bit long though.

    titties

  8. BobK Says:

I liked the voiceover. No idea why people are complaining about it. The volume needs work in parts, as extra quiet scenes and very loud scenes are right next to each other so you have to keep adjusting the volume.

  9. Chris Says:

It was a bit long, but man that took a lot of time. And the mash-up was done great in some parts. My favorite was the transition when she said “what do you do for an encore, burn down a building”.

  10. James Says:

Fact: The voice over sucked, nothing they could do it’s just a bad voice for it.

Great video though :) i thought the clip choices, order, transitions and everything were great.

that was well worth the time to watch… one of the funniest of that type i have seen in awhile :)
