Cinematically, it’s beautiful. Seamless editing, perfect atmosphere of vague dread, and a steady increase of both sound and video to a suddenly cut-off title shot. If only all trailers were this good…and I am NOT talking parodies!

My one wish would be to clarify the main theme a little bit more. It didn’t quite twig that Meg was a stalker until the second viewing, and even then I had to read the description. Just a little something “extra”…perhaps there’s a shot in the film where she’s holding a kitchen knife? Or a shot of her outside a window looking in? Just thinking out loud, and these are all beside the point. Above all: WELL DONE!

I’m a fairly recent convert to these things. Some of them, like Snakes on United 93 are about as funny as a puppy with cancer. And the whole, recutting to make it look like they’re gay thing, please give it a rest. Then there are the ones like this, and Glen & Glen & Gary & Ross, and Shining. You people are modern geniuses. I have laughed like a bastard and I applaud the hours you have taken and I gasp in awe at the technology you must possess. Gentlemen, I saulte you.
