Many people were annoyed upon the original release of Million Dollar Baby that the finished product seemed to be very different from the official trailers. So whilst this trailer is not a mashup or altering of genres, it seeks to give a more accurate representation of what the film is actually about.

You’ve got to be kidding me. That trailer doesn’t match the tone of the film at all. How is this an improvement over the previous trailers that were released prior to the film?

    That was horrible.

How did the trailer not match the tone of the film? I never felt cheated by what I saw, and I wasn’t surprised by the tone of the movie at all. It’s a pretty decent fan trailer, but that’s it.

You worked around the cathartic crux of the movie really well, but I have to agree that this trailer misses the mood of the original just as much as the original did. I thought you did a great job with the music until I heard the whiny vocals at the end..

Oh I get it. The description is a satire guys. I’m sure clint eastwood wouldn’t want the trailer for his movie looking like a summer beat-em-up flick. Much like the rest of the mashups, the description and the trailer are both working together to give you the chuckle that mashups are intended for.
