Hamlet Is Back (mashup)
CREATED BY: AMDS FILMS
MOVIES USED: Last Action Hero, Dragonheart, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Conan The Barbarian, King Arthur
Our second addition to the sequel category: from the makers of “Neo vs. RoboCop” comes “Hamlet is Back”. Inspired by a scene from Last Action Hero and cleverly combined with scenes from other movies, we see Schwarzenegger return to the big screen as Hamlet, hellbent on revenge.

You should add that the film music from Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is in there. At about 2:20 into the trailer. After Arnie says “To be or not to be. Not to be.”

yes, thank you, but the music of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is on all the trailer (lol)
audio: DRAGON HEART , LAST ACTION HERO and music PRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 2

One of my favorites, but you didn’t reference Predator in there, when there’s an Arnie scene or two definitely in there. (One being right after Draco emerges, Arnie’s in his mud-getup.)

Great.
But next time, don’t just write “in the middle of Europe”. Europe is NOT a country.
Americans don’t seem to get that.

ha ha lol , i am french, i am european, and Danemark is effectively in middle of europe, north east of france, lol.

Um it was originally set in Scotland in the play

wonderful, even a bit of 13th Knight is in it.
Wonder what James Cameron thinks about it .

No, I’m fairly sure “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark” was set in Denmark.
Really hoping the “somewhere in the middle of Europe” was part of the joke… After all, Hollywood isn’t well known for its geographical accuracy outside of Los Angeles.

Masterful, with excellent application of sepia-tone. Technical notes: You might consider changing “A New James Cameron’s Adaptation of A Masterpiece” to “A New James Cameron Adaptation of A Masterpiece” or “James Cameron’s New Adaptation of A Masterpiece” — it’s just better grammar. Also: Ophelia, not Ophelie…? Oh, and I like the “Somewhere in the middle of Europe.” It hints at how anything outside of America is generalized by Hollywood think-tanks.

Oh, and one more thing:
I could easily imagine Rob Schneider included as Hamlet’s bumbling side-kick. Or David Spade and Chris Farley as Rosencrantz & Guildenstern, comic-relief.

Somewhere in the middle of Europe?
Damn sure it’s Denmark.
I can’t possibly imagine anything like “something smells like rotten somewhere in the middle of Europe…” XD

Awesome! It just flows really well. Plus you did a great job matching the colours and tones of the different movies. I’ll say it again, awesome!

I LOVED THIS!
I always got a crack up out of the Hamlet parody in LAH. I don’t care how many people hate LAH, I actually enjoy that movie. My favorite part by far was the manipulation of AS’s Hamlet slaying Draco the Dragon from Dragonheart. Hilarious!
