Absolutely stunning.I truly believe with all the sucess in Pirate movies it’s about time to bring The Goonies two to the big screen. If Indian Jones,Rocky and Rambo can do it so can a bunch of misfit kids from the Goon docks.
Very well done.

I don’t really think you deserve all this praise, but the mashup isn’t completely without it’s merits. Enjoy your ill begotten love..

The cut where you go from Mikey with the doubloon (Goonies) to the shot of the ghost ship in the fog (pirates) is the moment that makes this believable as a trailer. The transition is flawless. It goes from being just a mashup to something that I’m very sad is not real. Because I would pay money to see it.

Steve,
This was just awesome man. Ranks in my top 5 for mock trailers. The transition that Marty mentioned above with Mikey and the doubloon to the ghost ship was one of my favorite aspects as well. You just catch the tail end of the other doubloon coming down with the ship. I also love Sloth being referred to as the “worst pirate ever” and the effect on Chunk’s scream. Plus the “Do you have a name missy?” “Chunk” is hilarious.
This concept was brilliantly executed.

The scene when Sloth is “the worst pirate I’ve ever scene.” with the cut of him jumping rope did it for me. Absolutly fabulouse mash.

pefect!!!!! wooooow!!!

I usally base mash-ups on a question I ask myself after I see them. Would I go see it if it was real? This is a yes in this case. Very nice editing, I am sad it really isn’t a movie!

I sat and watched with a huge grin on my face the entire time, chuckling loudly often. What sent me over the edge, though, and what elevates this from merely outstanding to absolutely mind-blowing was, as Jose mentioned, Sloth as “the worst pirate I’ve ever seen.” Cheers to you, this is fantastic.

The film GOONIES is one my best films, i watch the film every single day of my life, i wish i could meet the actors all of them, but the saddest thing is John mutuszak- sloth had died in 1987 and Anne ramsay-mama died in 1988 they will be rembered always. If i could meet any of the goonies it will be the happiest day of my lifes.
